We all have a reason to beat cancer.  It's affecting so many of my family, friends and probably you too.  It's horrible.  With the pandemic, science has not seen so much progress in such little time, research got us out of the pandemic, and research is beating cancer Right Now.

There's so many exciting research projects underway at the moment, it gives me hope that in my lifetime that "You Have Cancer" won't be associated with a doom, but will be just another illness with a raft of treatments to save our lives.

Relay For Life Plymouth

As many of you know I organise Relay For Life Plymouth on 30th July 2022 to celebrate the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer.

Relay For Life brings together teams of family and friends to fundraise for life-saving cancer research. Teams, cancer survivors and volunteers then unite as a community to honour everyone who has been affected by cancer and celebrate the money raised for research.

The festival is focused around a 24 hour relay where teams take it in turns to walk all day and all night to show that together we’ll do whatever it takes to beat cancer.

Other Fundraisers!

Other fundraising includes my Walk All Over Cancer in March and new for this year, Walking 100 miles in June!

All the money raised will support Cancer Research UK, the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research.
