Top tips to fundraise online
Log into your Participant zone to make the most of your online fundraising page with these top tips:
Personalise your page – make it unique! Add a photo or a video and tell people why you’re taking part.
Write a blog! Keep your friends and family updated on your progress by adding a blog to your fundraising page.
Add a fundraising totaliser and scrolling list of donations to your page so everyone can see your fundraising progress.
Email everyone you know the link to your page from your Participant zone. Ask close friends and family to sponsor you first as they are likely to be more generous and hopefully others will follow suit.
Get the message out there and post a link and regular updates about your fundraising and training on Facebook, Twitter and other social media you might be using.
Inspire people to donate to you by telling them what a difference their support makes.
It isn’t too late to ask people to donate after your event. Share your experience with them and remind them of your reasons for taking part.
